Dear Sir or Madam:
Thank you very much for inviting me to take patronage over the international conference “International Conference on Drug Sciences – ACCORD”, which will be held on May 26-28, 2022. The motto of the conference: “Synergy of interdisciplinary innovations” and the subject, which covers a wide range of interdisciplinary drug research, as well as the participation of renowned lecturers from European and American universities, will perfectly emphasize the international position and potential of the Medical University of Warsaw.
The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic and work on therapeutic agents against COVID-19 have highlighted the need to discuss all aspects of new drug development. Meetings among scientists, doctoral students and technologists can open up new perspectives for the widely undertaken area of drug research. They can become a great opportunity to outline the problems hampering the development of work on pharmaceuticals, but also an opportunity to develop effective solutions enabling fruitful cooperation at all stages of creating new preparations.
I am convinced that this event will open in the future a series of regular meetings of scientists, doctoral students and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and other faculties of the University with scientists from foreign academic centers. It will also be an excellent opportunity to present the significant achievements of the Medical University of Warsaw.
