Polish Society of Medicinal Chemistry Award

Polish Society of Medicinal Chemistry promotes education, discussions,  exchange of ideas and integration of scientists who represent different profile of their research in the following areas: organic and bioorganic synthesis, analytical chemistry, computational chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, chemical biology, pharmacy and medicine important  for solving medicinal chemistry problems

The Polish Society of Medical Chemistry selected the winners of the best poster presentations, focused on medicinal chemistry, presented during the ACCORD – Interdisciplinary Conference on Drug Sciences “Synergy of interdisciplinary innovations”.

The winner of the Ist prize is Mr. Michał Nowacki, Medical University of Warsaw, for the presentation of the poster entitled “Structure-based design of new pyrazolo [4,3-c] pyridine as PEX14-PEX5 Protein Protein Interaction (PPI) inhibitors“; prize of 250 euros

In addition, two awards were granted for outstanding posters:

Ms Marioli Stypik, Celon Pharma SA, for the poster entitled “CPL302415 – pyrazolo [1,5-a] pyrimidine derivative as a novel, very active and selective PI3Kδ inhibitor, highly potent drug candidate for SLE and other inflammatory and autoimmune diseases

Mr. Juan L. Perez, Wrocław University of Technology, for the poster entitled “De novo foldameric mini-protein as inhibitors of PD-1 / PD-L1 interaction
